As the mission of The Ellen Shaw de Paredes Institute for Women’s Imaging is to encompass various aspects of women’s imaging, we provide comprehensive ultrasound services. This includes such entities as abdominal ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, and vascular analysis including the lower extremity veins. We are able to provide fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid masses. Our state of the art Siemens Antares ultrasound unit is manned by a highly experienced, dedicated ultrasound technologist. Results are given to the patient at the time of the study and sent to the referring physician.
